100 job vacancies in industry in Bouygues Energies & Services

As a rapidly expanding sector, industry is a growth lever for the Bouygues Construction group. Today, Bouygues Energies & Services is recruiting some one hundred staff to spur its development and be in the Top 5 of client partners. Five questions for Philippe Chey, MD of the industry and nuclear division at Bouygues Energies & Services.

1/ How is Bouygues Energies & Services positioned today on the industry market?

Bouygues Energies & Services is active on the industry market in France, the UK, Canada and Africa, with an offer in works and maintenance, in industrial and nuclear sectors.
Our clients are often key accounts on the oil & gas, pharmacy, chemicals, automotive, aeronautics, agribusiness and data centre markets. Today, our ambition is to be in the Top 5 of client partners in 2020. Our mission is to help our clients reduce their Total Cost of Operation, while meeting their strong requirement where safety and environmental issues are concerned.

2/ Why is Bouygues Energies & Services today recruiting 100 staff for its Industry business in France?

Firstly, because we are on a growth path, in France and globally, and because we are developing our geographical operating sites. Secondly, because we are convinced that using our own staff, who are corporate employees, is the best way to ensure that worksites are executed to the satisfaction of our clients, in complete safety, and that we shall be efficient where our maintenance and service provision contracts are concerned.People are our sole wealth and it is they who make the difference for our clients. This is why we earmark over 4% of payroll to training, and much more where specific certifications are required.

3/ What types of profiles are you looking for?

The spectrum is very wide and can interest many applicants. We are looking for technicians, works supervisors, business engineers or study managers. Energy efficiency, the Internet of Things or 3D printing have also brought new skills to the fore. We are recruiting engineers, but also and above all applicants at Professional Bac and BTS level. There is a shortage of technicians who are expert in certain equipment or machine-tooling. Above all, what we are looking for in staff are skills, team spirit and the desire always to do better tomorrow.

4/ In the era of 4.0 industry, the challenges of the industrial world are changing. Are you looking for new profiles to meet this challenge?

Innovation is a major expectation for our clients: we must not only fulfil this expectation but be pro-active in sharing wagers with them where productivity is concerned. Combining our skills as a constructor and our competences in industrial processes is a key to success. Here too, the quality of recruitment and training of our staff are vital to achieving our goals

5/ What are the added values of Bouygues Energies & Services in this industrial sector?

Our parent company, Bouygues, has, for over 60 years, based itself on respecting Quality, Prices and Lead Times. We have added the notion of Service - responsiveness, adaptability and partnership over the long-term.
