Carries out studies and decides on operating methods so that the construction site becomes reality.
As part of the Technical Studies department, you perform methods studies on Building and Civil Works projects, striving to minimise the environmental impact of the construction site and the nuisance for local residents.
Depending on your profile, your main duties will include:
- Establish the construction schedule, operating methods and phasing of the works
- Take part in technical and economic studies of various solutions for constructing the structure
- Carry out studies of site installations, lifting and hoisting equipment and other plant
- Design or study specific equipment, invite bids from suppliers and check on plant manufacturers
When the works get under way, you offer support to the construction teams and finalise the construction methods on the site.

Your training may range from a two-year vocational diploma to a specialised masters from an engineering school. You have an excellent knowledge of construction techniques and of IT (CAD tools and scheduling software). You are meticulous, highly organised and imaginative, qualities which make you a proactive player and enables you to deliver your projects, in collaboration with Technical Studies and Construction teams.
