Works supervisor (building) M/F

Carries out contracts under optimal conditions.

Cindy, site engineer
When you are assigned to a site, you become a sort of entrepreneur – you have to respond quickly, see problems before they occur and handle the unexpected. With every new project we take on, we are helping to improve our surroundings. We build places where people are going to live. It’s great to see these buildings come to life after all those months of work!

Depending on the size and complexity of the operation, you are the “go-to person” for the customer, the company’s senior management and the subcontractors, either for the entire contract on small operations or for the package for which you are responsible (structural works, finishing works, technical trades or roads and main networks) on a larger operation.

Your main duties

  • Carry out contracts obtained by the company under the best conditions of schedule, quality, safety and cost
  • Coordinate the various contributors and supervise one or more trades
  • Take part in site meetings and handling relation with customers and subcontractors

Your duties will change as the construction work progresses. You may be involved in the preliminary stages (physical installation of the site, definition of working methods and procedures, appointing suppliers), during construction (supervision and coordination of works, budget control) and the completion/handover phase (correction of defects and completion of outstanding works, transfer of the project dossier to the after-sales team).

Your future path

Management of a works team, site manager.

Possible transfers to Sales and Technical careers.

Your profile

You have a 2- or 3- year undergraduate qualification or a diploma from an engineering school, you are enterprising, passionate about our business, and you want to work at the very heart of production. People skills, a sense of commitment and tenacity are among the qualities you will need to join a Works team and take part in creating our wonderful projects.
