The Lower Thames Crossing is a design and build project recently awarded to a joint venture between Bouygues TP (lead contractor) and J. Murphy & Sons. It is a major UK road infrastructure project consisting of a motorway linking Kent and Essex, east of London, with twin 4.2 km long tunnels under the River Thames. The start date for phase 1 of the project is 5 January 2024. Stage 1 consists of the preparation and submission of deliverables (technical, commercial, environmental, safety, programme, etc.) and value engineering.
Key responsabilities :

• Get a good knowledge of the Project and technical solutions developed during previous stages.
• Evaluates alternative solutions to determine if they are more effective than current methods.

Bouygues Travaux Publics is looking for a VIE to work on the T2 Trunk Road Project.
The main scope of the T2 Project includes the construction of a 3.4km dual two-lane trunk road, ventilation buildings, electrical and mechanical services, and other associated works.
The construction is a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) excavation, cut-and-cover, drill-and-break, drill-and-blast methods.
Your responsibilities during the assignment will be :
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project objectives, specifications, and constraints.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, including site conditions, available resources, and environmental factors.

Your main responsibilities will be:

2) Commercial Management:
- Supervise a section with fewer than 10 team members.

5) Nature of Tasks:
- Management of internal account invoice discrepancies using SAP ERP.
- Participation in monthly closures.
- Preparation of overall branch forecasts three times a year (Actual1, Actual2, and Plan).
6) Client Audit:
- Respond to client auditors' inquiries regarding the 2 ongoing projects.
- Produce justifications and provide explanations.

Bouygues Travaux Publics is working in the ALIGN Joint Venture for the High Speed 2 project in London. ALIGN is currently delivering a section of the 175km High-speed rail line between London and Birmingham. Works undertaken by ALIGN comprise of a 3.4km long viaduct and a twin bore 16km tunnel.
The Site Engineer Quality will ensure that the teams comply with ITPs, Method Statements, Work processes & procedures and Safety Standards across the project.
Ensure that the teams have requisite documents developed, approved and distributed prior to works commencement, undertake and record inspections and tests defined within ITPs, maintain contemporaneous as-built drawings, raise NCRs to cover deficient works and RFIs to clarify issues and/or record technical decisions agreed with HS2.
Responsibilities
The Align JV Site Engineer - Quality will be responsible for:
• Undertake Site Surveillance in conjunction with Surveillance Manager
• Daily execution and recording of self-certification of works against ITPs, method statements and plans

- Management of marketing activities.
This includes:
·       Maintain awareness of market situation
·       Liaise with Clients to maintain and build awareness of the company
·       Negotiate with Clients
·       Obtain approval of tender submissions
·       Assist Operations department with management of additional works, variations
 - Participate in monthly VSL BDM Meetings, Management Review and Objective Meetings involving all key VSL personnel
-        Attendance at Project Point Reviews
-        Develop detailed estimate for Civil Works Projects (predominantly focused on bridge construction/ Heavy Lift).

3.     Human Resource Management

- Work with General Manager and Human Resources in staff planning, resourcing levels.
Plan and monitor BDM department resource levels
- The building and development of teamwork.  Encouraging high levels of staff performance and motivation
 
4.     Marketing & Sales
 
- The initiation and development of new business opportunities in areas of the company's existing technologies and other related fields.  In particular this includes the securing of bridge construction works, prime contractor works, project and construction management assignments, other activities in civil engineering and other specialist activities
- Be aware of the other opportunities for VSL works and advise other BDM’s accordingly

La Santé et la Sécurité des collaborateurs sont la priorité de Bouygues Construction. A cette fin, Bouygues Bâtiment France (BBF) dispose d’un pôle de contrôle Santé Sécurité. Il apporte à la Direction Générale de chaque entité régionale et aux Services Prévention Santé Sécurité associés, un éclairage sur le niveau de maîtrise des activités conduites par les chantiers.

Ce pôle contribue à l’atteinte des objectifs suivants :
La conformité aux exigences de notre référentiel Santé Sécurité,
La connaissance et la mise en application de nos standards,
L’organisation des chantiers pour anticiper et prévenir leurs risques.
Il rend également compte des bonnes pratiques et des écarts.

Rattaché(e) au Responsable du Pôle Contrôle Santé Sécurité de Bouygues Bâtiment France, vous réaliserez des contrôles inopinés sur l’ensemble des chantiers de BBF, en toute indépendance et avec objectivité, bienveillance et savoir-faire.

Vos missions seront les suivantes :
S’assurer du bon respect des règles et standards de santé sécurité
Evaluer la maîtrise des risques majeurs et l’organisation mise en place pour les anticiper
Faire cesser toute tâche présentant un danger grave et imminent et en informer les interlocuteurs concernés
Faire régulariser les écarts et questionner l’équipe travaux sur les dispositions à prendre pour éviter leur apparition / renouvellement
Rédiger des rapports de visite factuels qui seront partagés avec l’équipe travaux et diffusés au sein de l’entité
Contribuer à la rédaction de synthèses mensuelles et annuelles
Contribuer au développement et au partage des bonnes pratiques

Le poste est principalement localisé en Île-de-France, des déplacements ponctuels dans les autres régions sont à prévoir dans le cadre de visites de chantier dites « doublons » ou « croisées ».
