Vos missions & challenges
The role:
· Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager to supervise the cleaning team in the region
· To undertake general cleaning duties as required including cleaning floors, toilets, furniture, emptying bins etc.
· Ensure the safety of cleaning equipment before use and reporting any defects
· Clean and return all cleaning equipment to the designated storeroom and ensure the housekeeping in the room is compliant
· To perform regular quality checks and audits on cleaning the standards
· Monitor consumable usage and order materials as required, undertaking regular stocktakes
· Support and deliver on HR related staffing issues including performance, sickness, timekeeping etc.
· Complete annual appraisal reviews and regular one to one meetings with direct reports
· Monitor compliance of COSHH and Risk assessment records
· Deliver Tool Box Talks to the team
· To ensure all standards of cleaning carried out by staff is of a high level and in line with contractual expectations
· Working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday between 7am and 4.30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Et si c'était vous ?
The person:
· Experience of working in an FM/Cleaning environment with supervisory responsibility for employees
· Proven ability to build strong relationships with the client group
· Experience of managing/supervising a team of cleaners
· Excellent customer service skills and a high standard of work with attention to detail
· Adaptable and flexible can-do approach with a willingness to learn
· IOSH trained – desirable but not essential
· Understanding of COSHH
· Full driving licence as the role requires travel between sites
· Will be required to obtain government standard clearance
