The role:
Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
To provide front line customer service support
To assist with handyperson and basic carpentry tasks including fabric repair and painting
To undertake maintenance technical duties that are within training and competence, both as planned and reactive works
Proactively and continuously undertake sweeps of the building, looking for service needs for customers, completing where within the project agreement of the Company and the Trust, escalating where outside of this
Order materials and services as needed
· Hours - 08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The person:
Will have experience of maintenance / building services preferably gained in a hospital environment
Will be proficient in painting and fabric repair and ideally have basic carpentry skills
Ideally be assessed as competent with respect to plumbing, mechanical and electrical specific interventions
Able to work within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team or alone
Able to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision
Flexible with good customer service and communication skills
