Bouygues Construction Australia is proud to be delivering of one of the biggest public transport projects in Victorian history with our consortium partners.
The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham with twin nine-kilometre tunnels.
The Junior cost controller position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects and tracing costs to underlying activities. He has to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management though out costs allocations, follow ups and reporting. Invoicing to various projects is as well a main part of the scope of work.
Key Responsabilities:
1) Responsible of controls activities including the measures of cost, time and scope of the project in accordance with the contract.
2) Cost planning, forecasting and monitoring cost estimations.
3) Tracking milestones and insuring project targets are realized.
4) Validate scope documents with contract scope/ sales estimates.
5) Prepare cost estimates and update online costs forecasts.
6) Minimise deviation through rigorous cost control and forecasting.
7) Close control of subcontracts/ supplier accounts costs.
8) Periodic financial statements about project progress
9) Regular reporting of risk/ opportunities and potential deviations.
10) Timely supporting documentation for project reviews.
