Max-Terrel - Melbourne Metro, Australia
+2 months

« I’ve been lucky enough to be able to join the KIJV teams via Intrafor, VSL’s subsidiary, on the Melbourne Metro project. The objective is to form a “box” that will act as the starting point for the tunnel boring machine. Being part of a joint venture is a genuine opportunity to learn with teams from a variety of backgrounds and experience different working methods. »

Laury – Human Resources Department, Cuba
+8 months

« On 10 February in Havana, the traditional Medals Ceremony was held to honour the men and women who, over the years, have demonstrated their commitment to the Group.
The core mission of any HR department - and this is especially true at Bouygues - is to build loyalty, motivate and develop. This is a particularly accurate representation of my work here in Cuba; it’s an experience that just keeps giving! »

Jean-Lou Grenard - UCLH Project, United Kingdom
+7 months

« It’s 4 months to the day since I joined the main structures team working on the UCLH project in London. It’s extremely interesting to work shoulder to shoulder with one of Bouygues’ foreign subsidiaries, particularly in England where I’m lucky enough to be working with people from all over the world. »

Geoffrey and Marie - International Conference Centre, Turkmenistan
+3 months
« We’ve been working on the International Conference centre project for the last 3 months, as Main Structures Site Supervisor and Architectural Trades Site Supervisor. The weather’s great and we’ve been made to feel very welcome!
The language barrier isn’t a problem; everyone speaks either French or English on the site. However, we’ve started Russian lessons so that we can speak to the locals.
This is a huge, high-tempo project that has to be delivered in just 2 years. We already know that the experience will be a formative one! »

Clément - Griffith Photovoltaic Farm, Australia

« My feeling about this project is that we’re helping to make sure the world heads in the right direction. The development of new energy sources is an exciting adventure, particularly since it is shared with people from around the world! »
