Key activities
You position formwork, assemble load-bearing towers and scaffolding and install security devices (Building or Public Works).
You key task is to pour the concrete, vibrate it and remove the formwork after checking it has hardened.
You could be in charge of installing prefabricated concrete units, adjusting and sealing them according to the type of site.
You carry out your tasks by integrating safety regulations into your daily life.
Your role comprises two specialities: the ‘formworker’, who uses metal panels (forms) and the ‘timberman’, who makes custom-made wooden forms with complex shapes.
Profile
Do you have a vocational diploma in the construction of boilers and metal structures? Have you mastered the techniques and regulations involved in the job (welding, separate lifting, handling, etc.)? Do you understand the language of the foreman, know how to interpret plans, diagrams, technical instructions and the Safety Protection Plan? Do you know the formwork equipment (accessories, safety devices, etc.) ? This role is right for you!
