An international company with headquarters in Switzerland and 50 offices worldwide is looking for a Finance Manager to join its team.
Company activities:
Special construction work in bridge and civil engineering, i.e. mainly post-tensioning of concrete structures, suspension of bridges and structures, handling of heavy lifts, technology of gradual bridge extensions, implementation of retaining walls with reinforced soil technology, earth anchors, etc. as a subcontractor of large construction companies in the area. VSL CZ operates on the Czech market and in Central and Eastern Europe. It has branches in Slovakia and Norway
Job description:
- Responsibility for the finance and risk management of the company, including branches in Slovakia and Norway.
- Reporting and presentation of financial data as required by the management.
- Preparation of regular VSL CZ plans (annual plan + 2 updates)
- Preparation of monthly financial controlling reports, management of project calculations
- Providing statutory audit (cooperation with MAZARS)
- Communication with external partners (banks, tax advisors, legal representatives)
- Payroll. Relationship management
- Foreign exchange risk management
- Negotiation of bank guarantees, letters of credit and other products
- Cash flow management
- Work in POHODA system, SAP and Magnitude, C@ris, SAP BW applications
- The Finance Manager will work closely with the company's management, the Chief Accountant and the company assistant

Basic requirements for the candidate:
- Higher education (economics), possibly secondary school with relevant experience.
- Independence and responsibility
- Very good knowledge of AJ (daily communication with partners and parent companies), preferably knowledge of FJ
- Knowledge and practical experience with CAS, IFRS (basics), SK an advantage
- Experience with consolidation within an international group (according to IFRS)
- Knowledge of Czech tax legislation, preferably knowledge of international tax regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn new things
- Loyalty, independence, reliability, interest in work
- Diligence, analytical thinking, proactive approach to problem solving
