Responsibilities of the Site Manager
Preparation and Organization:
- Prepare the site: monitor supplies, organize installations, and coordinate external stakeholders.
- Build and manage teams, including recruitment under fixed-term contracts and internal transfers.
- Contribute to technical choices with management and utilize document management tools.
- Analyze and distribute execution plans, identify specific equipment needs, and interpret complex plans.
- Implement topographical tools (tachymeter, GPS systems) for construction layout.
- Organize site logistics: circulation, storage, and waste management.
- Adhere to lifting management plans and supervise related operations.
Work Planning:
- Collaborate on work schedules and incorporate key milestones set by management.
- Plan personnel, tools, and equipment needs for the next three weeks.
- Manage material and equipment stock while accounting for other stakeholders’ constraints.
Risk Analysis and Prevention:
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate work-related risks.
- Develop and explain secure operating procedures.
- Define and implement health, safety, and prevention measures.
- Draft and monitor non-conformity reports.
Coactivity Management:
- Address constraints caused by other stakeholders and ensure safety in cases of coactivity issues.
Monitoring and Execution Control:
- Explain execution procedures to teams and ensure compliance.
- Oversee intervention sheets and daily briefings.
- Control expenses and implement corrective actions for budget deviations.
- Participate in financial reviews and validate daily reports.
