In your role, you'll be assisting both the Corporate Venture Capital fund and the Strategy Intelligence team.

This apprenticeship will allow you to grow in demanding activities by analyzing market trends, identifying investment opportunities with startups across various European countries, and building strategic reports to support the decision-making of top Management at Bouygues Construction.

Construction Venture, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of Bouygues Construction, invests in early-stage startups with the goal of fostering strategic partnerships that effectively address both present and future business challenges.

Your contributions may include:
Analysing market trends and dynamics in the startup environment relevant to our investment thesis across different global regions

Attending meetings with startups to screen potential investments

Preparing investment memos for review by Head of CVC and Investment Review Committee

Developing the internal and external network of Construction Venture for the success of the fund and its portfolio companies

Participating in the deployment of the new Construction Venture strategy, including communication strategy and representation at industry events

Strategic Intelligence Department aims to support and inform the strategic decision-making of Bouygues Construction’s top management through market analysis and competitive intelligence. Your contributions may include:
Ensuring competitive and strategic monitoring activities for the Bouygues Construction group:Monitoring markets and key competitors’ performances across Europe, Asia, and USA

Accompanying multi-layered market research and competitive intelligence analysis:Conducting benchmarking to assess the performance of major players and to monitor shifts in the competitive landscape and industry standards
Ad hoc strategic analysis (e.g.: trends in the construction industry, financial performance analysis, strategic development in specific countries, etc.)

The Junior cost controller position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects and tracing costs to underlying activities. He has to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management though out costs allocations, follow ups and reporting. Invoicing to various projects is as well a main part of the scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Responsible of controls activities including the measures of cost, time and scope of the project in accordance with the contract.
2) Cost planning, forecasting and monitoring cost estimations.
3) Tracking milestones and insuring project targets are realized.
4) Validate scope documents with contract scope/ sales estimates.
5) Prepare cost estimates and update online costs forecasts.
6) Minimise deviation through rigorous cost control and forecasting.
7) Close control of subcontracts/ supplier accounts costs.
8) Periodic financial statements about project progress
9) Regular reporting of risk/ opportunities and potential deviations.
10) Timely supporting documentation for project reviews.

Key Responsibilities :
1.    Collect and analyse source maps, survey data, photographs, computer records and other information and develop plans for land surveyors and related professionals.
2.    Provide the basic information required for land development and redevelopment, including road building, construction, etc.
3.    Apply an understanding of surveying principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
4.    Work with engineers to plan, organize and complete field surveys and ensure cost and project objectives are achieved.
5.    Provide information and advice assist in determining the best sustainable land use and development.
6.    Assist to draw up plans of land information by recording information, making calculations and plotting information into the required format to investigate the advancement and development of such practices
7.    Assist in identifying opportunities by researching both in the field and in the office whilst ensuring compliance with planning regulations and financing developments.
