The team in our VSL Technologies Business Line in Bern/Switzerland serves VSL’s Profit Centers in operating with regard of VSL technologies. We are covering all VSL product portfolio including, Structural bearing, Ground anchor, Post-tensioning System, stay cable system and all equipment related to. The scope of the activity covers the full product life from Research and Development to the handover to the owner going through the necessary marketing and support action to our site team and subsidiaries.

Our team in Praha has a focus on the repair, preservation and maintenance of existing structures, but also supports our new build businesses. Together, we work in a multidisciplinary environment to improve our technologies and develop new, innovative solutions. You will work in a diverse, multinational team with civil and mechanical engineers.
How will you make an impact?
Search and development of new business opportunities in repair and preservation
Preparation of technical and budget proposals in cooperation with production team
Relation with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
Presentations on seminairs and other bussines promotion activities
Contract preparation both clients and subcontractors
Cooperation with production team (follow up, feed back)

You will have the opportunity to work across the business supporting our projects in a team with multiple responsibilities and a focus on collaboration. The following are examples of areas of finance you will get involved in:

You will begin with the commitment part of every project:
-          Discrepancy Management: Identify and manage any discrepancies to ensure that every supplier is paid on time.
-          Raise manual payment requests when urgent payments are needed
-          Project Cash and Payments Monitoring: Monitor project cash flow and assist in managing payments.
-          Procurement Support: Assist site people to raise and receipt Purchase orders (delivery notes), suppliers follow up

Secondly, you will be introduced to the subcontractor domain:
-          Creating subcontractor contracts in SAP after reviewing the signed contract
-          Creating Monthly subcontractor situations in SAP after validation of their AFP by our QS
-          Ensuring the payments are done on time

Then you will be trained on the Client Module:
-          Managing the opening of new projects on SAP once the contract has been signed by the client and report it to the headquarters in Paris
-          Manage the organisation charts for SAP and authorising access rights (GRC requests)
-          Creating the Client contract in SAP
-          updating the contract End Of Site value.
-          Raising invoices for projects

And finally you will assist in the preparation of the Monthly Project Cost control :
-          Coding the monthly recharge files (expenses, salary, phone and other back charge files)
-          Reallocate the Staff costs to the different projects and liaise with the site cost controllers for data accuracy
-          Raise Intra-group invoices and monitor the IG recharges
-          updating End of Site cost by reviewing each task of the projects with the project manager
-          Monthly cost control of Recurrent Business projects:
·       Booking the accruals
·       Update of End of Site and remaining to be spent with the help of the project manager

You will also perform general administration tasks (IT requests, scanning letters, placing orders for laptops/phones, helping staff with the Concur system (expense claims)

The primary responsibility is to co-ordinate the efficient and effective delivery of project services for the Civil Works projects, including (but not limited to):
 Coordinate construction activities and ensure completion of the works to the highest standards of safety, quality and within the stipulated timeframe and budget
Determine and manage project priorities to ensure effective application of resources to guarantee project delivery
Regularly review the productivity, effectiveness, quality and profitability of projects, including project follow-up to monitor project deliverables and client satisfaction levels.
Participating in the resolution of technical issues during technical meetings and construction phase.
Ensure a safe working environment is provided for all team members.
Ensure Company’s professional standards are maintained and company objectives in relation to budget targets, service quality, company reputation, OH&S and environmental standards are met and take responsibility for compliance with external and internal standard.
Provide leadership, direction and training to the team ensuring effective engagement and use of skills, competencies and expertise to drive operational efficiencies and quality.

Together, we work in a multidisciplinary environment to improve our technologies and develop new, optimized and differentiating solutions. To strengthen our execution teams, we are looking for Site Supervisor for various construction project.
How will you make an impact?
As a Post-Tensioning (PT) Site Supervisor, you will work on specific international projects and mainly in Germany, finland and austria, in order to support our clients in the realization of their projects. Your responsibilities will be:
Participate in the preparation and organization upstream of the project, plan and order the delivery of needed materials and requests of the need of labor
Supervise the installation of the site and the equipment required for the project
Supervise, lead and organize the work of on site: work reports, relationship/coordination with client, communication with project manager, quality of the production, and safety standards, etc.
Supervise the work of the local staff: hiring of helpers, teaching, control of quality and assure the safety for our scope of works
Ensure Health & Safety rules are respected (regular inspections)

Location: London offices and/or Sizewell construction site
