We are seeking a Junior Cost Controller to join our dynamic team at Culcairn Solar Farm in New South Wales. As a Cost Controller in Bouygues Construction Australia, you will play a role in ensuring the success of the Culcairn Solar Farm – the biggest solar farm ever contracted by BYCA.
The Junior cost controller position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects and tracing costs. He has to provide an appropriate level of costing information to the project management throughout costs allocations, follow ups and reportings.
Here are the key responsibilities that await you:
• Responsible of controls activities of the Solar Farms Project on which (s)he will be, including the measures of cost, time, and scope of the project in accordance with the contract.
• Cost planning, forecasting, and monitoring cost estimations.
• Tracking milestones and insuring project targets are realized.
• Validate scope documents with contract scope/sales estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates and update online costs forecasts.
• Minimize deviation through rigorous cost control and forecasting.
• Close control of subcontracts/supplier accounts costs.
• Periodic financial statements about project progress.
• Regular reporting of risk/opportunities and potential deviations.
• Timely supporting documentation for project reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Accounting Interface: Manage the shared resource center for transactional finance, ensuring all financial operations comply with company standards and supervising activities to meet accounting deadlines. 4) Internal Account Management: Allocate expenses across various Cost Centers, including payroll, expense reports, vehicles, and IT costs. Perform monthly re-invoicing @ cost to Joint Ventures (JV) and ensure monthly closing with exhaustive expense checks. Regularly update and monitor the internal account budget control for ongoing projects, maintaining stringent financial oversight.

5) Project Management: Coordinate the deployment of engineering staff for the study phase, establish and communicate monthly invoicing to clients, and update re-invoicing rates biannually in alignment with remuneration reviews. Manage and communicate monthly labor allocation files to clients.
